Role Description The Project Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a mix of on-site activities and work-from-home tasks. This role oversees planning, execution, and delivery of community and advocacy projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating stakeholders, organizing events and meetings, tracking project milestones, and maintaining clear documentation and reporting. The Project Manager will manage logistics for programs, monitor progress and risks, support outreach and communication efforts, and align project activities with the organization’s mission of strengthening local Muslim political representation. Qualifications Candidates should possess project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination. Candidates should possess expeditor and expediting skills to ensure timely completion of project tasks and deliverables. Candidates should possess logistics management skills to organize events, resources, and operational workflows. Candidates should possess inspection and quality control skills to monitor project progress and ensure standards are met. Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse community members and partners. Experience in nonprofit, community organizing, political advocacy, or related fields is highly beneficial.
