Job Title: Temporary Kennel Worker Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour Hours: Part-time What You’ll Do Feeding and providing fresh water to dogs Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and shelter areas Walking, exercising, and socializing dogs Monitoring animal behavior and overall well-being Assisting with animal intake and daily care routines Maintaining a safe and organized shelter environment What We’re Looking For Dependable and have reliable attendance Compassionate and committed to humane animal care Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Able to work independently and as part of a team Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday Calm and professional in fast-paced or stressful situations Weekend, holiday, and occasional evening availability is required. Previous kennel, veterinary, shelter, or animal care experience is helpful, but not required — we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and a love for animals. This position includes working around animal noise, cleaning chemicals, odors, outdoor weather conditions, and animals with varying temperament and medical or behavioral needs.
