Employment Type Full-time Requirements Experienced Dental Hygienist (2+ years) Licensed dental hygienist X-ray / Radiography Certification What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Dental Hygienist (RDH) with an active state license in CA.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a dental hygienist preferred.
- Proficient in modern dental tools and technologies, such as digital X-rays and ultrasonic scalers.
- Active Dental Hygienist license in California.
- Assess gum health, check for signs of periodontal disease, and provide early intervention when needed.
- Take and review digital X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Guide patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques for optimal at-home care.
- Provide tailored recommendations for oral care products, such as electric toothbrushes, mouthwashes, and interdental cleaners.
- Discuss the impact of nutrition and lifestyle habits (such as smoking, grinding, and sugar intake) on oral health.
- Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff to create a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere, ensuring patients feel comfortable and valued.
- Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, and treatment progress in digital records.
- Work closely with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each patients needs.
- Track and schedule follow-up visits to ensure patients receive continuous care.
