About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in the design, implementation, and modification of treatment plans for patients. You will also provide direct patient care, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions
• Conduct treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment
• Participate in in-service training and education to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed
