State Universitys (NSU) Department of Facilities Management provides a campus environment that is conducive to working and learning through systematic maintenance repair and renovation and construction of campus buildings facilities and infrastructure.

The department invites applications for Plumber Tech II Residential Halls. Plumber will assist in maintenance of all residential halls and exterior plumber repairs as well as equipment and machinery repairs.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:

Minimum Competencies required to successfully perform the work:

Knowledge and experience in commercial plumbing
Skilled in troubleshooting repairing and installing plumbing systems and components
Demonstrated ability to read system drawings
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to give and follow instructions
Demonstrated ability to interact well with administrators faculty staff students and the general public.
Must be available to work both day and evening hours
Must possess a valid drivers license

Minimum Qualifications

Must have significant number of years of experience in plumbing skills. Must possess a valid drivers license with reliable transportation.

Additional Considerations

Extensive experience and knowledge of complex plumbing industry standards
Backflow Prevention Device Testers License
Associates Mechanical Degree or Technical Plumbing Certification or Military plumbing experience
