About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel for the Americas with a focus on employment and litigation. The successful candidate will be a pragmatic and solution-oriented lawyer, responsible for overseeing a wide range of employment-related legal issues and general litigation matters across the region. This includes providing legal guidance on compliance, risk management, and corporate governance. The role demands a strategic advisor who is also a hands-on problem solver, with a passion for delivering creative and proactive legal counsel. The Associate General Counsel will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and lead a small team of in-house counsel and legal operations professionals. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree, be a member in good standing of a State Bar or the District of Columbia, and have 10-15+ years of employment and litigation experience, preferably with a combination of in-house and law firm exposure. Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws, particularly in the U.S. and Canada, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing and developing legal teams, as well as experience in legal operations and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
