About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in supporting executive leadership and commercial operations, with a primary focus on commercial transactions, contract negotiation, and risk management. This role requires a practical, business-oriented attorney who can manage complex agreements and provide strategic legal guidance in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial agreements, offering legal advice on contracts, risk management, and regulatory compliance, and overseeing contractual communications, disputes, and litigation matters. The Associate General Counsel will also be responsible for maintaining legal compliance across business operations and coordinating with outside counsel as needed. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and an active license to practice law in the US. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in handling transactional legal matters, particularly in the areas of commercial contracts and sales-of-goods transactions, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law, commercial negotiations, and risk management principles, and experience in supporting business operations across multiple functional areas. The role demands a professional who is adept at maintaining contract administration, corporate records, and governance documentation, and who can effectively serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders.
