Robotics Operation Specialist

Expected compensation: 28.00 USD Per Hour HireArt is helping our client hire a Robotics Operation Specialist to execute precision manipulation data collection and perform data labeling to accelerate the research pipeline. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of physical operations and data quality, requiring both the precision to execute consistent manipulation tasks and the attention to detail to accurately label and validate collected data. The ideal candidate has experience in precision operations, data collection, or quality control and is comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks with a high degree of consistency. You're detail-oriented, reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working closely with engineering teams in a fast-moving research environment. As a Robotics Operation Specialist, You'll Execute robotic arm manipulation tasks according to defined protocols, maintaining consistency and precision across collection sessions. Label and annotate collected manipulation data to support engineering analysis and model development. Coordinate with the engineering team to understand task requirements, flag anomalies, and ensure data quality standards are met. Maintain accurate records of collection sessions, task variations, and any observed issues. Adapt to evolving task protocols as the research program develops. Requirements Experience in precision operations, data collection, or quality control, with AV operations, lab operations, or similar environments preferred Strong attention to detail and the ability to execute repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy Ability to work closely with engineering teams in a research environment Self-directed and reliable, with the ability to maintain quality standards with minimal oversight Adaptability to changing protocols and task requirements in a fast-moving research program Nice-to-Have Prior experience in autonomous vehicle operations or robotics environments Familiarity with data annotation or labeling workflows Experience working directly with engineering or research teams Gaming experience, particularly with strategy or simulation genres Physical Requirements Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on manipulation tasks for extended periods Ability to stand and/or move throughout a full shift while operating robotic hardware Comfort working in close physical proximity to robotic arms and lab equipment Benefits Pre-tax commuter benefits Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefits Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs HireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance 401k package Commitment This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt.
