WorkSource is now hiring for a Staffing Recruiter for our office in Springdale, AR. To qualify, you should have staffing or HR related experience and some college education. Spanish bilingual is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation

• Insurance options including medical, dental, vision and life
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 8 a.m. to finish, typically 5 p.m.
• Weekly paychecks
• PTO and holiday pay

Responsibilities

• Recruit candidates, screen resumes, interview candidates, administer appropriate assessments and complete reference/background checking and make decisions to hire (or not hire)
• Deliver employment offers for direct placement, temporary to hire and temporary positions for those that meet established standards
• Meet or exceed established team goals, individual goals, client orientations, quality results and retention
• Undergo heavy inbound and outbound call volume during the week
• Contact employees for their 1st day, 1st week and 90th day of work
• Contact individuals to determine eligibility to work
• Input, update and maintain accurate documentation, tracking and status of candidates records on applicant tracking system
• Administer and complete employee on-boarding
• Ensure accurate I-9 processing and urinalysis (where applicable)
• Ensures compliance with all federal/state/territory laws and regulations
• Work as part of a team player

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is desired
• Equivalent education or experience is acceptable
• Previous recruiting experience for a staffing agency or similar high-volume recruiting operation of 1 to 2 years
• Prior experience with staffing software is ideal
• Excels in a demanding/fast-paced team environment
• Able to adapt to the changing needs of the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred not mandatory
• Willing to occasionally travel within an assigned territory
• Organized, professional and able to handle confidential information as required
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-initiative
• Multi-task skills and capable of handling stressful situations
• Understanding and knowledge of human resource practices, employee relations, state and federal laws, workers compensation, safety, risk and payroll/ timekeeping
• Strong computer skills in MS Office 365
• Ability to navigate and work with various timekeeping and databases as well as ATS and CRM software
