We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder/Fabricator at Everett Engineering, your primary responsibility will be to fabricate, assemble, and weld various metal components and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Fabricate and weld metal components and structures following engineering drawings and specifications. Operate welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders, safely and efficiently. Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal parts. Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy, making any necessary repairs or adjustments. Test and evaluate welded components to ensure they meet specified tolerances and requirements. Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices in the use of welding equipment and materials. Collaborate with engineers, production supervisors, and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any welding-related issues. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified welder with a minimum of 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication. Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes. Familiarity with different types of metals and alloys. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures. Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks for extended periods. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
