Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews, gathering essential information during initial consultations and documenting each case from start to finish.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs through comprehensive assessments.

• Design and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans for a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and other mental health professionals to develop cohesive intervention plans.

• Maintain communication with attending physicians for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, working proactively to prevent any behaviors that could impede progress.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in navigating the challenges associated with mental health issues.

Your primary focus will be on adults and adolescents seeking help for various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a deep understanding of therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for seamless documentation and client management.

• Experience supporting clients with co-occurring physical health conditions and addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong insight into the pharmacological interventions and medications prescribed by healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
