We are currently seeking  Full-Time and PRN Speech-Language Pathologists to provide high-quality therapy services to residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric populations
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including nursing, PT, OT, and social services
• Complete documentation in compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning as appropriate

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible SLP license in the state of Ohio
• CCC-SLP from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred
• CFY candidates strongly encouraged to apply
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred, but  not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills
• Compassionate, resident-centered, and team-oriented mindset
