Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will play an essential role in the delivery of therapeutic services, directly contributing to each client's treatment plan through the following responsibilities:

• Observe and document patient interactions and behavioral changes thoroughly and accurately to inform treatment plans.

• Guide clients and their family members through treatment options, orienting them to the therapeutic process and addressing any questions or concerns.

• Write comprehensive progress notes, adhering to departmental standards and reflecting clients’ progression toward their treatment goals, ensuring all notes are completed by the end of each shift.

• Actively advocate for patients, identifying and facilitating access to appropriate services that would enhance their therapeutic outcomes.

• Demonstrate effective time management skills, prioritizing tasks to ensure high-quality care within specified timeframes.

• Utilize knowledge of the DSM-5 for diagnosing and assisting with treatment planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n
