Transaction Processing Specialist

Description Financial Services organization is seeking a consultant to help with Reviewing Transactions and Disbursements. Why Open – This team is currently overworked. The disbursements team really needs additional support. Hiring manager is not sure why they’re just temp. Made comments like, "we're grossly understaffed". Hiring manager, Lisa started 9 months ago, and it's been busy. There's another group that wants to give them more work and that's why they have the 2 open, wants to bring on one at a time. Wants to get a feel for training processes and how it will impact the team, then onboard the second. Reviewing transactions. There's reporting review coming in. Checks, EFT, ACH, and Wire's, looking for signatures, how were these things filled out? What more do we need to review, is the bank information bad? Reports prepared, ready and getting back results. Disbursement sheets, etc. Detail orientated, computer savvy, Excel, Meeting deadlines all day long – usually tight turnaround. Motivated. Reviewing payments and verifying before the treasury department and then the money goes out the door. In office on a computer with deadlines. Customer Service and the importance that your role plays. Restaurant. Retail Bank location. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
