Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting with telemetry patient population Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 13-week assignment length May be asked to float to a different unit or the facility's other campus Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of PCU/Tele experience required Prior travel nursing experience preferred Altera charting system experience preferred but not required Additional Information Deliver direct, individualized nursing care based on the nursing process Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes Must be well-versed in a broad range of medical conditions Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for a positive result Candidates must reside 150 miles or more from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate Local candidates are not accepted Previous permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to return as a trav005r Candidates must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a completion plan in place American Traveler Job ID P-748176.
