Total Rewards SpecialistWe are seeking a Total Rewards Specialist for the Compensation and Benefits Department. The Total Rewards Specialist is to provide outstanding payroll and benefits services to our internal members through our core values of human dignity, stewardship, sensible innovation, and craftsmanship. The Total Rewards Specialist must protect the confidentiality of our employee base (current, past, and future). The primary job responsibilities of this role are focused on supporting payroll and benefits processes for Credit Human employees.When reporting to the Benefits Team, this role primarily supports benefits functions, including assisting with employee benefit deductions, administering leave-of-absence requests according to established procedures, coordinating benefits-related termination processes when employees leave Credit Human, preparing benefit deduction invoices, and supporting other human resources functions.If you have experience in compliance, reporting, and working within technology data applications, you should apply right away!Highlights:Administers all benefits to new hires and those who qualify under life events, retirement, or terminationEnsures that all material for the current plan year is accurate and uploaded into the onboarding module and SharePoint sitesAdministers FMLA requests and ensures that all required paperwork is given to the employee requesting leave and those who are granted leaveEnsures that all bi-weekly and monthly benefit invoices are reconciled and paid to vendors in accordance with the required due dateProvides support to the Payroll Team by administering the following Payroll functions: maintaining all employee data, processing all biweekly payroll functions, reconciling payroll general ledgers, creating wire requests, generating reports, coordinating year-end payroll activities, answering all employee inquiries, and troubleshooting employee UKG system issues, all with precision and integrityExperience:Required: 2+ years of experience with compliance and reportingRequired: 2+ years in directly supporting products and servicesRequired: 2+ years in accurately processing data entry for employment and/or financial transactionsRequired: 2+ years in posting and reconciling general ledger activityRequired: 2+ years of working within technology data applications (i.e., HRIS systems, payroll/tax software applications, financial services software applications)Required: 2+ years supporting data quality assurance processesPreferred: 1+ years of experience in multi-state payroll processingPreferred: 1+ years of experience in benefits administrationPreferred: 1+ years of experience with leave of absence administrationEducation:Required: High School DiplomaPreferred: Related Certification and/or Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent degree or; Enrolled in an accredited college or UniversityLicenses & Certifications:Required: Ability to obtain a HIPAA Certification within 7-working days of employmentSkills & Knowledge:Required: Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.Required: Communication – Ability to communicate while building and maintaining positive relationships.Required: Problem Solving – Ability to find solutions for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.Required: Working Under Pressure – Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations while maintaining a positive attitude.Required: Organization – Ability to organize and plan work to meet established deadlines.Required: Independence – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, make appropriate decisions, follow through and make recommendations.Required: Customer Service – Excellent customer service skills needed.Required: Strong in math, grammar, spelling & basic accountingRequired: Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, and database applicationsPreferred: Advanced Excel and Access skillsPreferred: Knowledge of federal and state payroll lawsSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pmCompensation Details:Paygrade: 1CAThe expected pay range for this position is $23.77 - $24.10 an hour.Credit Human is committed to equitable and transparent compensation practices.
