Accountant

Accountant Location: Gurugram, India Job type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong proficiency in Tally to join our agency. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, exceptional numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage financial data efficiently using Tally software. Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records using Tally software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and journal entries. Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial statements on a regular basis. Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required. Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial analyses. Monitor and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculations and timely disbursement of salaries. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather and verify financial information. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial activities. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards. Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven work experience as an Accountant. Strong proficiency in Tally software is essential. Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
