Speech-Language Pathologist

Overview Speech Therapy Plus LLC is looking for energetic and motivated speech therapists to join our dynamic team in Ramsey, NJ. We are a growing private practice offering evaluation and treatment to toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents. The SLP will be expected to provide skilled intervention and parent training, while allowing for creativity and flexibility within the sessions. Speech Therapy Plus LLC focuses on building relationships with families to help children succeed across different environments. Pediatric experience is required. This is a Full-time position. Candidate must be available weekdays late afternoons/evenings. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat clients with a variety of communication disorders Develop treatment plans, determining long and short-term goals, and methods to achieve success for clients with a variety of communication disorders Complete daily treatment notes, maintain or records (e.g. progress reports, plan of care etc.). Collaborate with a variety of groups and/or individuals (e.g. parents, teachers, physicians, administration, other professionals, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues and providing services in compliance with established guidelines. Monitor and maintain re-assessments of clients services as deemed necessary by facility and/or client’s insurance carrier Complete client and parental/caregiver education as well as provide home exercise programs when appropriate Maintain a friendly and supportive rapport with clients, parents/caregiver, and facility co-workers Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology Details Job Type: Full-time Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Continuing education credits Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule 8-hour shift (11am - 7pm) Evening shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work setting Clinic In-person Private practice Location Ramsey, NJ 07446: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.
