Associate Financial Advisor

Overview We are a diversified financial services leader that partners with independent advisors to provide financial planning and advisory services to clients. The Associate Financial Advisor assists advisors in delivering high‑quality client experiences while building and maintaining client portfolios. Responsibilities Marketing and Client Acquisition Develop and implement annual marketing plans to meet acquisition goals. Contact prospects to set up meetings or appointments. Coordinate seminars, client appreciation events, and local advertising. Leverage natural markets and Center of Influence programs to drive new client acquisition. Maintain an active client referral program and use social media and online tools. Financial Planning and Advice Identify and re‑engage clients for planning relationships. Prepare for client meetings and gather client data using the Financial Planning Tool Suite. Create planning deliverables and conduct case analysis with recommendations. Present recommendations and provide guidance to clients. Track client actions and hold clients accountable to agreed upon steps. Product Solutions Assess client risk tolerance, goals, and time frame. Recommend portfolio and product solutions that fit client profiles. Run illustrations, develop product deliverables, and execute trades as needed. Monitor markets and economic events for strategic rebalancing. Maintain wholesale relationships and manage client transactions. Business Management & Client Care Review work methods for quality improvements and implement efficiencies. Assign and delegate work, provide feedback, and train practice support staff. Participate in daily stand‑up and weekly staff meetings; act as a technical resource. Setup and maintain client management system; write client letters and respond to emails. Maintain records in compliance with retention policies. Key Traits Ability to meet with clients and present planning strategies. Strong prospecting and client acquisition skills. High interpersonal and communication skills. Initiative in business development and entrepreneurial mindset. Adherence to rules, regulations, and compliance within the advisor’s practice. Ability to recommend suitable investment products and services. Time, people, and budget management to run an efficient practice. Qualifications College degree or higher. Minimum 2+ years of similar experience. Passed Series 7, Series 66, and state life, accident, and health insurance exams. Professional finance designation (e.g., CFA, CFP). Full‑time employment.
