Senior Accounts Payable

LHH is partnering with a growing software development company seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. What You'll Be Doing: Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt through payment Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies Partner with internal departments to ensure proper approval workflows and expense coding Assist with month-end close , including AP accruals and account reconciliations Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies Support 1099 preparation and year-end reporting Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and improve efficiencies Assist with audit requests and special projects as needed What They're Looking For: 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience , including full-cycle AP responsibilities Prior experience in a technology, software, SaaS, or fast-growing corporate environment preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices Experience with ERP systems and automated invoice processing platforms Advanced Excel skills , including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and vendor relationship management abilities Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
