Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Manager of Biostatistics to support clinical development and post-marketing activities across all phases. This early-career role involves executing statistical analyses, designing studies, and collaborating cross-functionally while gaining experience under senior statistical leadership.

Responsibilities

Execute statistical modeling and analyses coordinating with biostatisticians, programmers, and cross-functional partners
Perform complex statistical analyses, review findings, contribute to protocol development and Statistical Analysis Plans
Design clinical and real-world studies and analyze data from randomized trials and observational studies
Establish collaborations with clinical research, medical affairs, operations and data management teams
Contribute to scientific innovation through statistical methods and external conference participation

Requirements

Ph.D. in Biostatistics or Statistics with 0-3 years experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years in Pharma/Biotech
Clinical trial design and analysis experience with healthcare datasets
Advanced statistical methods and programming proficiency in R or SAS
Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-technical audiences
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills

Compensation: $148,760-$181,276 base per year
