Business Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Clearwater, FL — In Person
Base Salary: $85,000+ depending on experience

Our business litigation firm, handling matters involving construction, contracts, and real property , is looking for an Associate Attorney ready to take an active role in cases from start to finish.

This is not a position where you’ll simply perform research or draft documents behind the scenes. You’ll work directly with clients, develop case strategy, take and defend depositions, argue motions, and gain meaningful trial experience.

What You’ll Do

• Manage business, construction, contract, and real property litigation matters
• Communicate directly with clients throughout their cases
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex factual and legal issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare for and argue motions in court
• Participate in and handle trials
• Develop case strategy for both plaintiffs and defendants

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed attorney with litigation experience
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter who takes ownership of cases and responsibilities
• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Comfortable communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Willing to ask questions, learn, and continue developing as a litigator
• Professional and respectful, including when dealing with opposing parties and counsel
• High level of integrity and sound judgment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to put in additional time when a case or deadline requires it
