Sr. Software Engineer The Sr. Software Engineer is a technical leader within the Software Development & Infrastructure team, responsible for the architecture, design, and delivery of complex features across RMS (HomeAdvantage's proprietary platform), life administration systems, websites, workflows, and automated processes. This position owns full-lifecycle development from systems design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. Our latest recognition: 2026 & 2025 Best Places to Work (Glassdoor) 2026 & 2025 Best Place for Working Parents® (Best Place for Working Parents®) 2025 America's Most Admired Workplaces (Newsweek) 2025 Top Franchises for Women (Franchise Business Review) 2025 Best-Led Companies (Glassdoor) Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and maintains full-stack web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and.NET Core on the back end and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Blazor) on the front end Works with a SQL Server database and contributes to database design and optimization Collaborates with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to implement new features and enhance existing ones Develops RESTful APIs and integrates third-party services Optimizes application performance and troubleshoots scalability issues Writes clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices in software development, including testing, debugging, and version control (Git) Participates in code reviews and contributes to technical discussions Ensures that the front-end applications are user-friendly, responsive, and optimized for performance across various devices and browsers Participates in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing, and deployment of features across multiple subsystems within a large-scale, web-based, customer-facing application Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code Investigates, analyzes, and makes recommendations to management regarding technology improvements, upgrades, and modifications Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree. Four (4) years of relevant education and work experience may be substituted for degree Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Full Stack Developer Experience with modern front-end development frameworks like Angular and Blazor Experience in Responsive Web Design Experience in Google Maps API Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript Experience working with databases, including writing queries and optimizing database performance (e.g., SQL Server) Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience building or consuming APIs Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team environment Polished and professional demeanor Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful Preferred Requirements Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, etc Familiarity with Unit Testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit) Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure or AWS Experience with microservices architecture Knowledge of mobile development is an added advantage Experience with Real Estate, CRM, Marketing Automation, Google Analytics Knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Skills Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, listening, and presentation communication skills Strong solution and service-oriented skills, with an emphasis on collaboration, problem solving, follow-through, and responsiveness Strong relationship building skills, with a proactive and service-oriented approach to working with team members Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities Strong analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy Abilities Ability to provide strong customer service through all communication mediums Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability Ability to demonstrate good judgement and effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to diplomatically communicate information Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to demonstrate the highest level of integrity and ethics Ability to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation, accountability, and work ethic EEO Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
