Program Manager

The Program Manager oversees the operational and quality delivery of projects within an assigned portfolio. This role ensures effective project design and execution, fosters strategic relationships, and leads employees in developing and executing strategic, business, and action plans to achieve defined goals and objectives. Role allocation: Approximately 50% program management and 50% people management. This is a people-leader role; direct reports may include Project Managers and Project Coordinators. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee, manage, and train Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Serve as the primary escalation point of contact for project and internal stakeholders. Own the delivery of complex programs and projects. Teach and perform operational practice tasks. Create and standardize program, customer, and service-offering documentation, including enhancements and version control. Support and create practice-specific training and knowledge resources. Directly manage consultants, including communicating roles and responsibilities needed to achieve project objectives. Build balanced working relationships and provide performance feedback. Manage team culture to support strong performance. Provide professional support as needed. Perform other job duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 6 to 8 years of project or program management experience related professional experience, and/or PMI certification. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to understand, articulate, and deliver meaningful value to a service offering, customer, or business. Excellent presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior management. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to effectively influence and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent meeting, workshop, and facilitation skills, with demonstrated ability to foster participation and collaboration in small and large groups. Demonstrated track record of managing and delivering program or portfolio financial management. Proven client-facing and in-person communication skills.
