This is a long-term career opportunity for a hands-on Safety Professional with strong petro-chemical or refinery, OSHA compliance, and field safety experience.What You’ll DoProvide daily construction safety / EHS oversight for contractors and subcontractorsConduct jobsite inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and observationsReview JHAs/JSAs, Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), permits, toolbox talks, and safety documentationCoach trades and contractors on OSHA compliance and safe work practicesMonitor chemical exposures using a respiratorInvestigate incidents, injuries, and near misses and track corrective actionsEnsure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926, client requirements, and site-specific safety programsRequirements3+ years of construction safety experience in a Refinery or Petro-chemical settingKnowledge of OSHA 1926 construction standardsCurrent OSHA 30-Hour Construction requiredTWIC, Transportation Worker Identification Credential, card preferredCurrent First Aid/CPR/AEDStrong hazard recognition, communication, coaching, and field leadership skillsReliable transportation to travel to different sites to oversee constructionWhy CMI?Competitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision3 weeks PTO + 9 paid holidays401(k) with company matchCareer advancement and professional developmentLong-term opportunities beyond this projectLocal candidates or candidates willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.
