A leading professional services organization is seeking an experienced Billing Operations Manager to oversee billing activities and lead a team of billing professionals. This position will partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, accurate, and client-focused billing operations while identifying opportunities to improve processes and team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily billing operations and oversee a team of billing professionals.
- Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to address billing needs and resolve complex issues.
- Establish efficient billing procedures, controls, and service standards.
- Monitor billing activity, deadlines, reporting, and overall team performance.
- Support complex client billing requirements, electronic billing, and billing adjustments.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
- Develop team members through coaching, training, cross-training, and performance management.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of billing systems and related technology.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in professional services or legal billing/revenue operations.
- 3+ years of experience managing billing professionals.
- Strong knowledge of billing, collections, electronic invoicing, and revenue-cycle processes.
- Experience with Elite 3E or similar financial/billing systems preferred.
