Over the last century, our expanded capabilities, project experience, safety record, and commitment to quality have made Enerfab one of the industry leaders in shop fabrication, field erection and construction and maintenance services.The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for direct-hire industrial construction projects, with a primary focus on electrical scopes of work. This individual should understand Enerfab's competitive advantages and effectively communicate those strengths throughout the estimating and bidding process.Key Responsibilities:Project estimating coordination with all scopes when leading an estimateWrite Supplier and Subcontractor Request for pricingLead electrical estimates and assign tasksCustomer interactionDevelop and write a construction execution plan as well as associated indirect costsDevelop manpower loading chartSite visits and job preconstruction meeting attendance if neededAttend weekly estimating meetingsAttend and conduct internal review meetingsAttend and conduct executive review meetingsAttend and conduct project turn over meetings with operationsQualifications:Minimum 5 - 10 years of estimating experience in construction with experience with industrial electrical systemsMinimum High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or journeyman electrician credentialsElectrical construction installation knowledgeIndustry knowledge in commercial, industrial, power, oil and gas, food/beverage/agriculture and/or waterExperience preparing conceptual estimates, high- and low-voltage electrical estimates, design-build estimates, square-foot estimates, and unit-price proposalsAbility to understand construction drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with engineering design documents and specificationsCompetence with the National Electrical CodeExperience providing estimate breakdowns to support P6 schedulingEstimating software knowledge Trimble AccubidPossess leadership skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate estimating efforts across cross-functional teamsWork Environment and Expectations:Some job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The noise in the work environment is often loud. Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours.
