Step into a dynamic school-based setting as an Occupational Therapist, where you’ll have the opportunity to foster student growth and development across a diverse K-12 caseload. This full-time, onsite contract role kicks off as soon as possible, providing you the chance to make an immediate impact in an engaging educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license required
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to varied student needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services to help students improve their functional and academic performance
- Collaborate with teachers, multi-disciplinary teams, and families to support student progress
- Document and track student progress, preparing necessary reports and records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
- Stay current on best practices in school-based occupational therapy
