Job Description

Join our team as a Commercial Roofer where you will assist in the installation and removal of various commercial roofing systems such as EPDM, TPO, PVC, modified bitumen, and built-up roofing (BUR). Your role will involve tear-off, material staging, and jobsite cleanup, as well as carrying and loading roofing materials, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist foremen and skilled roofers with flashing, insulation, membrane installation, and detail work.
• Follow OSHA safety standards, fall protection requirements, and company safety policies.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders/lifts.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Safety-minded attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior roofing or construction experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation to the shop or jobsite.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. This is a six-week prevailing wage project with the opportunity to continue with the company afterwards. The role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and involves physical labor typical of construction and sheet metal work.

This is a Contract position based out of Lino Lakes, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72.00 - $130.00/hr.
