Sous Chef

Position Location: Redding, Connecticut. Overview Meadow Ridge is a life care retirement community located on 136 acres in Redding, CT, offering independent and assisted living apartment homes and a skilled health center that provides qualified nursing care. The on‑site Health Center provides short‑term rehabilitation and long‑term care. Schedule & Compensation Schedule: 6 am–2 pm, days TBD. Hourly wage: $26–$27.25. Responsibilities The Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in the overall coordination of food preparation and presentation, overseeing kitchen staff, ensuring sanitation, preparing food using standardized recipes and methods, managing portion sizes, meal schedules, proper storage of raw and prepared food, and cleaning requirements.
