The ECHO and Stress department of Alton Memorial performs in depth testing to determine the functioning the human heart.

The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing including treadmill stress testing holter monitoring transthoracic echocardiography transesophageal echo stress echo and cardiac doppler. Responsibilities include performing tests and procedures at various locations. Maintaining accurate patient logs. Updating daily charges in the computer utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer. Maintaining cardiac lab patient files.

Minimum Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: No Experience Supervisor Experience: No Experience Licenses & Certifications: RDCS or equiv Preferred Requirements: Education: Associate's Degree- Allied Health/Sonography Experience: 2 years Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
