Accounting Assistant

Our client, a concrete equipment manufacturer and dealer, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate will be experienced in QuickBooks, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting sales, service, and customer operations. This is a direct hire, onsite position.

Summary

The Accounting Admin plays a key role in supporting our estimating department through data entry, vendor communications, document management, etc. The ideal candidate has experience working with Quickbooks and is comfortable working with vendors to gather quotes and pricing for construction-related materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile invoices and payments in QuickBooks.

• Generate and review financial and sales reports.

• Support payroll processing and assist with closing activities.

• Manage purchase orders and ensure equipment and parts invoices are accurately recorded.

• Handle administrative functions, including document preparation and data entry.

• Maintain product and equipment pricing lists in QuickBooks.

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate job costing and equipment pricing.

• Communicate with customers regarding order status, payments, and service scheduling.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an estimating support, procurement, or administrative role (construction or manufacturing industry preferred).

• Proficient in Quotebooks and QuickBooks (or similar estimating/accounting software).

• Excellent organizational and data entry skills with a high attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
