Role Overview: As our Accounts Specialist, you'll play a key role in keeping our financial processes streamlined and accurate. Youll manage vendor payments, assist with financial record-keeping, and help ensure our accounting practices comply with current standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of vendor payments and financial obligations.
• Monitor deadlines for tax obligations and ensure timely payments.
• Process, record, and verify the accuracy of all invoices.
• Manage company credit card expenditures and payments.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews.
• Collaborate with other departments to support accounting audits and compliance.
• Prepare and send out tax documents efficiently.
• Research and manage new vendor accounts, ensuring thorough documentation.

What Youll Need:

• Proven ability to manage details with precision.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of staff.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a consistent record of meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts receivable or a similar role is highly advantageous.
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and frequent use of the computer.
• Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 15 pounds may be needed.
