Business Development Representative

NTV360 is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our innovative Marketing team in the greater Huntington, Smithtown, and BayShore area. We work directly with local businesses to develop marketing strategies that meet their unique needs. This role sits at the crucial intersection of marketing and sales, focusing on understanding potential clients’ needs and initiating conversations that lead to qualified sales opportunities. You’ll leverage marketing insights to fuel effective outreach, connect with local businesses, and directly contribute to NTV360’s growth trajectory. Key Responsibilities Lead Qualification & Appointment Setting: Engage prospects effectively to qualify their interest and need, with the primary goal of scheduling high-quality introductory meetings for the Sales team. Relationship Building: Establish initial rapport and build trust with potential clients through professional, engaging, and consistent communication. Territory and Network management: Maintain the current Indoor Billboard network uptime of 95%+ and maintain relationships with venue partners. Strategic Outreach: Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies via networking (community events, Chamber of Commerce, etc.), email, and phone calls, informed by your understanding of the market and prospect needs. Value Communication: Clearly articulate NTV360’s value proposition, tailoring the message to resonate with different types of businesses and highlighting the marketing benefits of our digital billboard network. CRM & CMS Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions and scheduled appointments within our CRM system. What We’re Looking For Dual Passion: Genuine interest and/or experience in both marketing principles and sales/business development processes. You understand how they work together. Exceptional Communicator: Ability to connect, build rapport quickly, listen actively, and articulate value clearly (both written and verbal). Strategic Thinker & Doer: You can understand the bigger picture and market context but are also driven to take action, make calls, and network. Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: Adept at managing outreach cadences, tracking activities, and maintaining accurate records. Resilient & Results-Oriented: Possess a positive attitude, handle rejection gracefully, and stay focused on achieving goals (quality appointments). Self-Starter with Growth Mindset: Proactive, takes initiative, eager to learn, and committed to personal and professional growth. Success Metrics Consistent generation of qualified leads and high-quality appointments set for the Sales team. Demonstrated ability to effectively research, prospect, and engage target markets. Strong work ethic, organization, and proactive contribution to growth initiatives. Job Type: Full-time Compensation: On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $62,000 to $85,000 for the first year (includes base salary + uncapped commission). 401(k) matching Health insurance Vision insurance Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) Why Join NTV360?
