BFS Fleet Service is hiring an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, vocational equipment, and specialized fleet vehicles.

Pay: $62,400 - $93,600 per year.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, no weekends.

BFS is a 30,000-square-foot fleet repair facility with 36 service bays, 26 lifts, specialized equipment, experienced support staff, and a large base of commercial fleet customers. Our technicians work on a wide variety of diesel-powered equipment and have access to ongoing technical training and the tools needed to perform quality repairs.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks and diesel vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and drivability concerns.
• Repair air brake, suspension, steering, electrical, cooling, and aftertreatment systems.
• Work on trailers, vocational equipment, hydraulic systems, cranes, and specialized fleet vehicles.
• Perform thorough digital vehicle inspections.
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and recommendations accurately.
• Identify additional safety and maintenance needs.
• Communicate repair findings with shop foremen and service advisors.
• Follow company safety and quality-control procedures.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

• Hands-on experience repairing medium- or heavy-duty trucks or diesel equipment.
• Strong understanding of diesel, electrical, air brake, steering, and suspension systems.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and completing repairs correctly.
• Ability to work effectively with foremen, service advisors, and other technicians.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to document findings and repairs clearly.
• Willingness to continue developing technical skills.

A valid driver's license is required. A CDL and applicable certifications are preferred but are not required for the right candidate.
