Credentialing Coordinator II

$26.25 - $32.81 per hour

Position Title: Credentialing Coordinator II Location: Montebello, CA 90640 Job Overview The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for processing initial and re‑credentialing applications for Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP) such as physicians, mid‑levels, dental providers, etc. The coordinator works collaboratively with members of the credentialing department, administration, physicians, and health care providers to coordinate, develop, monitor, and maintain the credentialing process. They ensure accurate, complete, and timely functioning of the initial and re‑credentialing processes and prepare credentialing files for presentation to the Credentialing Committee and to State Agency and Health Plans audits. Minimum Requirements Some college coursework or an Associate's degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of Health Care Credentialing. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred. Compensation $26.25 - $32.81 hourly Compensation Disclaimer Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
