Credentialing Coordinator II

$26.25 - $32.81 per hour

Credentialing Coordinator The Credentialing Coordinator processes initial and re-credentialing applications for Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP) such as physicians, mid-levels, and dental providers. The role collaborates with the credentialing department, administration, physicians, and health care providers to coordinate, develop, monitor, and maintain the credentialing process. It ensures accurate, complete, and timely functioning of the initial and re-credentialing processes, and prepares credentialing files for presentation to the Credentialing Committee and for State Agency and Health Plans audits. Minimum Requirements Some college coursework or an Associate's degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of Health Care Credentialing. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred. Compensation $26.25 - $32.81 hourly. The range is subject to change and may qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
