Our organization is in search of skilled Anesthesiologists for a locum tenens position in Virginia. This role within a high-acuity hospital provides flexible scheduling, a supervision model, and a diverse array of cases involving both adults and children.

• Schedule: Options for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, including weeknight and weekend on-call duties

• Call: Availability for weeknight and/or weekend calls is required

• Support Staff: Supervision model with 2-3 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) per anesthesiologist

• Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Care for adults, healthy pediatric patients, and obstetric cases

  • Perform spinals, regional anesthesia, orthopedic, neurological (head/spine), and vascular procedures

  • Manage ventilation, arterial lines, and central lines

• Experience Requirements: Candidates must be proficient with a comprehensive case mix; MDs are expected to perform spinals and epidurals

• EMR: Experience with EPIC is preferred
