Job Summary Performs and documents cardiology procedures as defined in departmental Scope of Care. Performs all modalities of stress testing, holter testing, EKG and/or cardiac event monitoring. Also performs clerical functions for unit. Job Requirements Minimum Education Requirement High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. Completion of a formal training in Electrocardiogram Technique and arrhythmias recognition and/or EMT license required. Minimum Experience Requirement One year cardiovascular experience is preferred. MUSE Cardiology Information System experience preferred. Computer literate, ability to work with all age groups. Ability to develop positive interactions with co-workers and physicians. Excellent customer service skills required. Minimum License Requirement BLS required. EMT license required if in lieu of formal training in Electrocardiogram Technique and arrhythmias recognition.
