Registered Nurse - First Assist Lead

Role Provides clinical and administrative oversight for a designated surgical specialty in the operating room, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and process improvements. Responsibilities Manages daily operations, evaluates care quality, develops policies, oversees staff training, and leads quality improvement initiatives. Ensures patient, staff, and physician satisfaction by facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration and delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective services. Performs circulating, scrub, or RNFA roles as assigned and applies evidence‑based practices tailored to patient needs. Qualifications RN with RNFA certification meeting AORN standards or RNFA equivalency, plus at least two years of RN experience in advanced surgical specialties. Valid BLS and RN licensure (state‑specific), and CNOR certification required. Skills Strong leadership, communication, process improvement, and clinical expertise. Ability to manage staff, ensure safety, monitor quality, and foster a customer‑focused environment.
