Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070-$2,180 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Shift: 12-hour nights, 19:00-07:30 Shifts Per Week: 3 Hours Per Week: 36 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation Location: Madison, Wisconsin 53792 Setting: Inpatient transplant surgery unit Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a compact state license Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty Previous telemetry nurse or medical-surgical nursing experience required Epic charting experience required BLS certification required, AHA only Must successfully pass a telemetry exam prior to start Strong telemetry and med/surg clinical skills Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday rotation Willingness to float as needed Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care to adult post-transplant patients with complex medical needs Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Manage common med/surg interventions including IV therapy, wound care, drains, and oxygen support Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes Educate and support patients as they recover from kidney, pancreas, liver, and other transplant procedures Document accurately in Epic and maintain high standards of clinical communication Deliver excellent patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment If you are looking for Wisconsin nursing jobs that combine telemetry, transplant care, and travel RN experience, apply now and join a highly respected healthcare team in Madison.
