Project Manager

Role Description

The Project Manager, BDOADVANTAGE will be an integral team member, primarily focusing on managing technology development projects. The Manager will ensure the project's overall success from initiation to closure, by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a clear understanding of both waterfall and agile development methodologies.

• Leads the project planning and implementation of project plans of technology development projects within the BDOADVANTAGE portfolio.
• Works closely with the Product and Project Owners to ensure project alignment with product objectives and company goals.
• Applies project management practices across related initiatives, managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Utilizes a hybrid project management approach, incorporating elements of both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Reviews and analyzes project financials and budget to actual projections.
• Employs project management tools and software to track project progress and manage resources.
• Facilitates communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
• Identifies and manages project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensures project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conducts post-project evaluations to capture learnings and improve future project management practices.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Business, Project/Program Management, or Information Technology, preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience serving as a project manager, project coordinator, or similar role, with a focus on technology development projects and software development lifecycle, required.
• Experience working with and mentoring distributed/remote teams, required.
• Experience working in audit, assurance or accounting professional services industry, preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certified, preferred.
• Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, preferred.
• Proficient with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, preferred.

Benefits

• Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
• National Range: $110,000 - $142,000.
• Maryland Range: $110,000 - $142,000.
• NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $110,000 - $142,000.
