Narcotics Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities Assist the Pharmacist In Charge with daily functions Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications Package fill and ship medications Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor Qualification: Licensed Pharmacy Technician Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus Accurate medication and generic knowledge Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently Creating a safe, effective environment Shifts: 11:00am - 7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays 12:30pm - 9:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays EEO Statement, SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
