Full Throttle Security Corp. is seeking a Security Officer to help protect people, property, and company assets in a fast-paced onsite environment.

The Security Officer will monitor and safeguard assigned locations by conducting patrols, observing and reporting incidents, and supporting a safe, secure atmosphere for staff, visitors, and stakeholders. This role is ideal for a vigilant, customer-focused professional who takes pride in maintaining order and responding appropriately to security needs.

In this position, you will serve as a visible and trusted presence, using sound judgment to deter issues, escalate concerns when necessary, and ensure consistent adherence to established safety and security procedures.

• Perform routine patrols and monitor assigned areas to identify security risks, safety hazards, and suspicious activity.

• Control access by verifying credentials, following entry/visitor procedures, and maintaining accurate logs as required.

• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and policy violations by assessing situations and coordinating next steps.

• Provide professional customer service to visitors and staff while maintaining a secure and orderly environment.

• Document observations, complete incident reports, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and relevant parties.

• Ability to remain alert and follow established procedures in a variety of situations and environments.

• Strong observational skills with the ability to accurately record details and report concerns.

• Willingness to work onsite in Oviedo, FL, consistently as scheduled.

• Effective communication skills, including the ability to handle inquiries calmly and professionally.

• Basic competence in using standard office or handheld systems for logging and reporting (as applicable).

• Must have valid driver's license and OWN transportation: No ride share or public

• Must have Florida State Class D Security License

• Prior security, safety, or loss-prevention experience.

• Experience working in roles that require de-escalation, incident response, or high attention to detail.

• Familiarity with standard security practices such as access control, patrol routines, and incident documentation.

• Experience working with diverse groups of people in a professional, service-oriented manner.

• Experience in retail

Hourly rate: $16
