GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not guaranteed compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Create and maintain production, work, and shipment schedules. Maintain production capacity schedule and forecast Prioritize work orders to ensure an optimization of resources Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates. Assist in solving production problems. Interact with shop floor management daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies. Provide additional information as requested from Manufacturing and Project Managers. Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner. Works with supply chain for timely delivery of materials to the shop floor. Develop and achieve department/company goal and controls. Actively identify and drive areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity improvements (lean initiatives) Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to the planned production schedule. Evaluate staffing needs to accommodate current and future production workflows. Create and implement new tracking measures to improve workflows and efficiencies. Participate and support Production excellence data gathering and input into global systems for reporting Leads daily status update meetings to the workshop team Your Profile / Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to work cross functionally with other leaders in the department to meet customer needs Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Basic understanding in Lean and continuous improvement tools and processes and ability to lead these types of processes/projects is a must Self‑Motivated and high ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to understand and contribute to strategic goals for the department Other duties as assigned.
