Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which is equipped with the latest therapy tools and technology for optimal patient care. Our facility fosters a collaborative atmosphere, encouraging teamwork among physical therapists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff to enhance patient outcomes. You will work a steady schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their needs and set achievable therapy goals.
• Manage a caseload of patients, providing individualized therapy sessions focusing on rehabilitation and prevention methods.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans employing various therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment strategies, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments to therapy approaches.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of the latest research and therapies in physical rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Our focus on personalized care allows you to address specific goals for each patient, whether it's improving mobility, strength, or overall function.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Cleans record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with patients.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and professional integrity.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Software, preferably WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits
