Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with various conditions, assessing physical limitations and crafting targeted treatment plans.
• Consult with healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care and effective communication regarding patient progress.
• Interact compassionately with patients from diverse backgrounds while adhering to our standards for exceptional customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist at Orthoworks, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, accident victims, and those with chronic pain or mobility issues. You will develop personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's specific needs, helping them regain strength, function, and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills, especially in electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management software.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation principles and modalities will enhance your ability to contribute to patient care.
• Experience in community outreach programs or health education initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
