What You'll Do:

• Operate ultrasound equipment, selecting appropriate transducers and adjusting controls according to exam specifications.
• Explain procedures and assist patients, considering age and understanding throughout.
• Assess patient comfort and pain levels, coordinating with physicians if intervention is necessary.
• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system (HMS Medhost).
• Maintain and calibrate equipment ensuring optimal functioning.
• Prioritize patient safety and reduce medical errors in a clinical environment.

What You Need:

• Valid NH MIRT license or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in ultrasound or vascular imaging
• Strong understanding of ultrasound equipment and protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Required:

• NH MIRT licensing

Preferred:

• Relevant ultrasound/vascular certifications
• Experience working in a hospital or outpatient setting
