Production Team Leader

Production Team Leader – Blue Ash, OH The Production Team Leader is responsible for the utilization and supervision of employees within assigned work areas. This role involves direct supervision and coordination of the team’s daily tasks on the production floor. What You Will Do Assign daily tasks and set clear objectives for team members at the beginning of each shift to direct production flow. Monitor production metrics such as output, downtime, and waste, and create reports on team performance. Provide training and coaching to new and existing employees on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards. Conduct initial troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions and elevate complex technical problems to the maintenance department. Lead daily team meetings to communicate production targets, safety alerts, and any changes in procedure. Enforce all health and safety regulations on the production floor to maintain a safe working environment. Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and address any deviations. Manage administrative tasks for the team, including scheduling, monitoring attendance, and approving timecards. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Operations Management or Engineering preferred. 2+ years of demonstrated people leadership experience in a manufacturing setting. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage operations within the manufacturing industry. Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
