Job Location: Louisville, KY + New Albany, IN (Two Openings) Base Salary: $90K - 130K Requirements: 5+ years of public accounting experience, CPA license. Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, with expertise in managing tax matters for S-Corps, partnerships, and individual accounts. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate tax strategies effectively to clients and team members. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee tax compliance processes for S-Corps, partnerships, and individual accounts
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities
• Review and prepare federal and state tax returns and ensure accuracy
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on current tax laws and regulations
• Mentor and train junior staff in tax-related matters
• Communicate complex tax concepts to clients and provide strategic advice
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or tax consulting
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of taxation for S-Corps, partnerships, and individual accounts
